Soccer Stars '76 - '77

This latest collection from FKS brought with it a bold change in the design of the stickers - the horizontal format was introduced. Accordingly, each player was pictured twice: the standard mugshot, and a full-length photo of the player in action. Looks like FKS struggled to find one or two of the action shots and resorted to inserting a claret and blue flag instead, while some of the stickers have clearly been coloured in - especially noticeable on [40], [41] and [44] (John Deehan [40] has even had his eyes painted in!). And what's with Brian Little [45]? Is that really him in the photos? The squad members are arranged in alphabetical order by surname, and laid out in five rows of three to fill a single page. The manager, Ron Saunders of course, went on a separate page with a more orthodox portrait sticker.

Sticker backs
The 'stickers' consisted of paper labels which were not gummed and had no backing pieces. They were designed to be glued along the top edge. (The examples pictured below were all once mounted in an album and so there is surface damage to the upper sections.) The text on the stickers is generic, but each one has the player's name on:
